PHARMACOLOGY

TEARSOLE LIQUIGEL is a lubricant that uses the sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose as it's main constituent to provide lubrication to the eye.It has shown to be efficacious in the treatment of aqueous tear deficient dry eye symptoms.It is generally understood that it is the physical properties of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose such as viscosity and mucoadehsive properties contributing to its prolonged retention time on the ocular Surface
preservative but preservative free stabilized oxichloro complex (SOC) works as preservative in TEARSOLE LIQUIGEL eye drops.it is a an oxidative type preservative that oxidizes in the presence of light and dissociate into water, oxygen ,sodium and chloride free radicals.
INDICATIONS AND USES
symptoms related to dry eyes i.e.irritation, redness, dryness and tiredness or discomfort caused due to exposure of sun or wind.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
one drop of Tearsole LIQUIGEL eye drop in the effected eye(s) 3 to 4 times a day or as directed by your eye doctor.
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
*hypersensitivity towards any ingredient in the ophthalmolmic solution.
*wash your hands properly before applying eye drops
*do not touch the tip of the vial, because any contamination can cause inflammation in your eye.
*Do not swallow solution.
*If solution changes colour or becomes cloudy,do not use the solution.
*For external use only.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Allergic reactions like skin rash,itiching swelling.Blur vision after the administration of eye drops ,eye irritation or redness or eye pain.
INFORMATION TO PATIENTS
Shake well before use . Follow the instructions that are provided by your doctor and if experience the above adverse effects,discontinue the usage and contact your doctor immediately.
